Certus consultants have experience designing logic for abroad range of applications including but not limited to storage, communications, digital signal processing, microprocessors, memory controllers, and low power. Each consultant is fluent in Verilog HDL and/or VHDL and is experienced in industry standard logic synthesis tools.

Our experience includes verifying designs as large as 100M gatesand as complex as multi-processor Systems On Chip.  We have expertise in RTL and gate level simulation, firmware cosimulation, code coverage, static timing analysis, and circuit analysis.  We are familiar with all industry standard verification tools.

We can design in testability features including SCAN and ATPG, JTAG, BIST, as well as custom testability functions where pinout constraints are severe.

Placement of logic blocks and routing of inter-block signals has acritical impact on performance.  Our consultants understand the issues involved and how to use floorplanning tools to mitigate performance, reliability and power consumption problems.

Most projects need some level of userware to enhance and streamline thedesign and verification process.  We'll write custom scripts to manage your design flow, verification flow, and data collection and analysis using shell scripts, Makefile, Perl, Tcl, C or other utilities.
